National FFA Week
TODAY’S LUNCH: Sub Sandwich, Lettuce, Tomato, Cheese, Baked Beans, Sun Chips, Strawberries, IC and Milk

What year did the National Organization start allowing girls to join FFA? Girls were allowed to join FFA in 1969
What year did the Hawkeye FFA Chapter start in West Bend? Hawkeye FFA started in March 1932.
The challenge today is to find 6 of the 7 FFA officers and get their initials on the same sheet of paper… bring the completed paper to Ms. Fisher for a prize.
Today is hat day….the one day you may wear a hat and not get in too much trouble as long as it is appropriate and you follow directions.
Tomorrow is dress like a farmer day

Northwest Iowa Community College of Sheldon is visiting tomorrow. Sign up with Mrs. Sulentic to meet with them.
Last call for permission forms for the Algona High School College Fair! Turn them in to Mrs. Sulentic NOW to be able to attend!
February 26th will be the 8th grade History Day completion in the lobby at 6:30 pm. 8th graders are expected to be there and everyone is welcome to come see the projects.
All winter sports athletes make sure you get all of your jerseys/equipment turned in as soon as your season is over.
Come out for Pizza and Chicken at the Wagon Wheel tonight. The Washington D.C. students will be waiting tables. Any tips earned will be going towards the cost of group adventures while we are in D.C. Please see the flyer for more information.
